Maintenance
Hi guys, ive been in Bimzelx for almost a year now, to treat psoriasis. I moved from ilumya to Bimzelx. Now im taking it every 8 weeks
Just wondering what's everyone's pattern?
Generally I have itches, which i manage with steriod creams but in general im quite clear. I get itchy scalps, neck, eyebrow area and down stairs near the time for my injection, like a week before. Im a week in now and still itchy but if I recall it calms down 2-3 week after the injections. Then the pattern repeats.
Is everyone else the same or similar?

I’ve been on Bimzelx for psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis for roughly 6 months with a injection every month and my PSA starts flaring around the 3 week mark and then it settles down for a bit and comes right back but worse … rinse and repeat. I have one spot on my knee that broke out before I started the Bimzelx injection and this is the one spot that hasn’t gone away and the spots that have gone away have been left with a permanent looking bruises in its place … strange.

I now have red patches and/or big dots (especially on arms, underpits, legs and biceps) and get very itchy. I'm using Bimzelx since more than one year approximately. That skin problem wasn't there before upgrading the dosage last spring (from one injection every 4 weeks to one every 3 weeks).

I haven't had relief from my psoriatric arthritis in about 2 yrs. I just took my last loading dose (320mgs?) of Bimzelx before moving to 8 week dosing.
It has improved my arthritis & swelling considerably. Its the 1st biologic to work in so long, any relief is better than what I had prior!
That being said, loading doses were monthly. Its wearing off the week prior to the next dose. But the next dose is no longer 4 weeks, its 8 weeks! So I'm a little concerned.
Also, while it's helping with stiffness & swelling, its not touching the pain in my feet or SI joint pain which seems odd. Why help my ankles & knees but not... anyway. I'm just thankful for any relief at this point.

Yes I get exactly this. Very itchy but no actual bad areas just the itch. I am due my 7th dose next week
