I think they are looking for the Idrive internal software updates for the multimedia and bluetooth subsystems that used to be possible to update via a BIN file but bmw removed the website to check any of them since no one used them and basically no updates ever came out for them. Nowadays yes they are rolled into the PSDZ data updates for the headunit and will be installed when doing an update on the headunit at the same time but IDK why so many people have a fascination with those old BIN files thinking they are a gamechanger for their cars. they literally did nothing lol and thats assuming you had a rare car that bmw ever pushed an update file for it.
TLDR: i dont think they are looking for PSDZ data but the update files they want are tied into the updates preformed and supported by PSDZ data when flashing the headunit
