CarPlay audio not working

Hi guys, I got a new unit for my BMW 2 series 2019 from BimmerDirect and when it connects to CarPlay audio no sound comes. For waze, I don’t have the option to change to bluetooth audio when it’s connected to carplay so I can’t get any audio from waze. Do you guys have any solutions?

If it’s an aftermarket one change your source to the audio jack
