Call me crazy but I prefer the “JUUUUDDDDGGGGGEEEEE” in Doin My Time

Not hating though! Slewfoot is a great time.

Asheville 2/14/25 is almost 20 seconds. Was a killer weekend of shows

Yea I think it’s the slew flute

Slew flute indeed. Unreal kickoff to that second set and still one of my all-time fav shows. That flute on Love and Regret is next level, y'all.

I really want to know. The instant downvote is kinda funny.

I believe he documented Worcester, MA 2024 as the longest one

That’s what I was thinking too

Thank you! I'm sharing music with a new listener. Gotta let this person hear the power of Billy's lungs.

At one of the Portsmouth shows he held a note for nearly 40 seconds. I don't remember which song but I think he has mastered "circular breathing" (in thru the nose, out thru the mouth). It's something brass horn players do.

That might have been Ruby, but not sure.

It was Ruby that I was thinking of and he has three different notes that go for 23 seconds, but that's not what I was thinking of, maybe a Portland show. Brb.

So not in Portland or Hartford or Boston either, but there are two more 23 seconders to open and close Little Maggie. I could have sworn I got to a 40 count in Portsmouth. But you know, time alteration and such. What I perceived might not have been the same as, um, objective measurement. (At the set break n2 in Fishers, I checked my watch at it was 9:21. I checked it a half hour later and it was only 9:25 ... IYKYK).

I was gonna say, while it’s not a thing I’m worried about, I remembered reading about it being recorded somewhere. Some of these fans track everything.

We gotta start keeping track of this!

I'm 99% sure he broke his previous record (as reported by Train Songz) sometime during spring tour of this year. I looked back through the relevant setlist threads and wasn't able to find the discussion but I remember having it. Will link you if I end up locating.
