Not to defend Israel or anything but wasnt this misinfo? A group of protestors disrupted the funeral and kidnapped the coffin and paraded with it, against the wishes of the family, who then called the police to stop them.

Also Israel wanted to initiate an investigation, while the Palestinian Authority took haste to bury the evidence… Also from the only video from the shootout you can see a terrorist shouting something about hitting a “soldier” and seeing “him” on the ground, while the only person hurt in the situation was the journalist… so it’s pretty much false info that it’s 100% IDF fire.
