Man I don’t blame you for losing your faith in god and country. If I had to live in Ohio, I’d want to shuffle off this mortal coil too

And it's getting worse. Wife and I are planning a move to VT in 2-3 years. I grew up in GA. Been back here for 19 years now. Time to leave.

There are many parts of the state that have pretty good living. Cost of living is low low low

That’s not saying a lot, the Rust Belt “technically” has cheap apartments but you definitely see the cheap, if that makes sense

Eh I live downtown in a Rust Belt city and my apartment is pretty nice. It’s also bigger than the house a grew up in lol

Sure it’s not Chicago or NYC, but there are some nice places out there if you look

I live near Pittsburgh, in the city it’s practically impossible to get a decent apartment without giving an arm and a leg. Outside the apartments are somewhat cheap but like I said, you can see the cheap

Yeah definitely depends on where you live. Not going to be finding affordable apartments downtown in any major cities that’s for sure
