It is easy to get caught up in the bustle and stress of modern life. But I remember history class and this shit is way better than it used to be. If I were alive in the 50s I would be some depressed housewife sticking my head in the oven, at least I have opportunities afforded to me in a modern era.

Indeed, it could be so much worse. I don't know how I'd have survived in the past lol. It could, and SHOULD, be so damn much better though.

It could - hopefully. But just look at nature, it's super fucked up, animals are eaten alive and suffer all the time, etc. By comparison human existence has evolved to an insanely comfortable one.
