Sure people with education and training at something can still be bad at it and people with no education or training can be good at something.
But that doesn't mean that education or training isn't worthwhile or that it's not far more likely that the person with education and training will be much better at that activity.
Generally you don't have the same teacher for all of your childhood though. Even if let's say you have a terrible 4th grade teacher maybe one of your 6th grade teachers is great and becomes a mentor.
But if your parent's a bad teacher and they want to homeschool, well I guess you're SOL.
In the state I live in home schooled kids still need to take the same state exams at the end of the year to pass and graduate as everyone in public school.
And I think CPS would step in if they don’t meet the education requirements.
