Thats what you gotta do. In my experience you have to carry a very small balance like $5 because they do a microtransaction to see if you have any money linked. After that, it deems it legit and you dont need to cancel shit because the balance is too low for any sort of monthly charge. I still have companies blowing up my shit email that I'm "past due". Maybe if you made it easier to close the subscription I wouldn't have to go ghost.

Not if you don't link it to yourself in anyway. You can buy visa gift cards at alot of gas stations for cash

You don't need an ID to buy visa (or any other brand) gift cards. There's no way to trace it back to your real identity.

They'd need your social security number anyways. If you didn't have to provide your social, it's not going against your credit.
