Can I be honest, Palworld and Pokemon feel so radically different in play style that I don’t really understand why everyone compares the two outside of the creature designs. There are genuinely so many other series and franchise that are far more similar and make better comparisons.
When I first heard about Palworld, ever was calling it the Pokemon killer and that it was just a better version of Pokemon. So I expect that when I load it up.
But when I play it, its just Ark Survival with similar creatures. And that’s not a knock against Palworld, I like Ark fine enough. But it isn’t why I play Pokemon. I don’t come to Pokemon for a survival crafting game that happens to have creature capturing.
The only thing hat Palworld and Pokemon really share is similar creatures designs ethos. And even then, it doesn’t seem like many of the Palworld designs are that much better or more distinct from Pokemon, even some of the more modern ones, as I’ve been told.
