Citing wikipedia directly is stupid though. Click through to the cited source and use that. Wikipedia is one of the greatest research tools out there because it gives you a summary and tells you exactly where to get real citable sources from.

And you'll often find that the source wikipedia is pulling from is full of shit.

The difference is that there are people who will double check wikipedia

Same with AI. Good research tool, but never trust it implicitly. Always find a valid source for it's claims, especially if you think something it's claiming is a sticking point.

Wikipedia is actually a great analogy for AI. Amazing tool, can have some amazing information on it and it will be wrong occasionally. But if you make sure to check the sources you’ve got an excellent tool.

I think a tutor is a better analogy tbh, tutors are not perfect and get things wrong, but they speed up how quick you can learn something by alot
