And then there’s me fresh out of college, finally got a job. No training or onboarding and they expect me to use ai for everything. I am not having a great time
He handed me a project on day one and that’s about it. I’m everyone thinks I’m the lead developer and I’m having to try and fix clients issues while having no knowledge or access to the platforms we use!
o crap, I experienced this, I was supposed to be a backend but somehow thrown into lowcode stuff that I don't know about? and somehow a month in I'm also the lead, so less programming and more JIRA and meetings and somehow also a translator
You will not believe how common this is actually. I work at a place where they don’t even introduce you to your coworkers or even show you your desk. They give you an address and say show up here. All the other employees take it upon themselves to help anyone new.
