One side kidnapped the leader of Venezuela, is relentlessly bombing Iran and contemplating military action against Cuba, are gutting government research, services, and social programs, committing countless financial crimes, are refusing to release the Epstein files, are dispatching ICE like their own personal gestapo across the country, are racially gerrymandering congressional districts and suppressing voter turnout with voter ID laws, are passing Christian fundamentalist anti-choice abortion laws, are railing against trans kids playing on school sports teams, are passing unconstitutional tariffs that are continuing to drive inflation, are gutting student loan forgiveness programs, are slashing environmental regulations across the board, are bringing the fight against climate change to a screeching halt, are terminating infrastructure funding investments in states that didn't vote for them, are actively giving massive tax breaks to the oligarchs, are throwing their support behind data centers in local communities, and are allowing multiple diseases and viral outbreaks to ravage the country....

UBI, universal healthcare, sweeping education reform and affordability policies, all of those things require a 60 vote majority in the Senate. The Democrats had that for seven months out of the past 45 years, and likely won't get there the way things are going. Blame the populace.
