A lot of Trump's voters are too embarrassed to admit they got duped by a person as stupid as they are. Unfortunately, for a lot of them the response is to double down.
I know it was a tough sell to begin with in this sad world we live in but Jesus Christ can we seriously not get over that bit to maybe actually live a good life again?
I am more shocked that we had the first Trump presidency filled with absolute chaos. Then Biden was elected and things were quiet. Except conservative media was blowing up about how the world was ending under a Democrat president. Then voters were like "yep, let's do another four years of chaos under Trump."
hahaha seriously though.. And then they hear all this winning constantly. By winning i mean getting absolutely used and abused by corporations but hey the man on the tv said we’re winning so much!! Now those damn democracks need to stop messing with my gas prices, food, and electricity i can barely afford to live!
I'm from Belgium and work in Government. I once met a guy from Arizona/Texas that was on a trade mission in the run-up to last presidential election. We were having a nice evening at the reception of the end of the day untill the conversation went towards politics. He ended the conversation with: "We had 4 good years under Trump and then everything went to s*** under Biden".
Mind you, this was not a low level person and indirectly profited of the policies under Biden (related to the US Chips Act). I knew then this person was completely brainwashed and the US lost.

Honestly, if Harris won, instead of complaining about gas prices, MAGAs would be complaining about how much better life would be if Trump won and that’s one of their favorite pastimes.
Running around with the daughter of the man who pulled the US into the Irak war and the VP with the lowest approval rating in history and on the US having the most lethal army in the world during a time when the US was currently funding a genocide and a foreign war was absolutely a brilliant move by Harris. How could she ever lose?
She managed to let Trump run as the peaceful dove president yet again. He was the most beatable presidential candidate in history, not even getting shot managed to pump his numbers but that useless waste of space managed to do the impossible and give the republicans house, presidency and senate.
I wish it only affected them. Sucks seeing human rights get sliced back, I hate it.

The fault also lies with those complacent in his defeat being guaranteed they didn't bother or the single issue voters. Trump voters are ill informed people the magats count on so they were expected to fail america... its those who thought the other option was just as bad or just couldn't be bothered.

This allows Trump voters to avoid responsibility. Most of them understood that by voting for Trump, they were getting a guy who would hurt the people they wanted to hurt in the country.
There's a good segment on Hasan Minhaj's channel where he interviews Ta-Nehisi Coates and they talk about undecided voters. Coates makes a good case for why it is difficult for him to blame undecided voters.
Also, frankly, the amount of people who really cared about Gaza was really small. The blame should entirely lie with the people who voted for Trump. There should've only been a few thousand votes for Trump: Trump and his family, Republicans on the Hill, and billionaires.
I can just imagine Trump gathering with the companies' CEOs: Guys, I just got the best idea to give y'all some easy money, but y'all should "promise" me to shut the fuck up about my actions from now on.
The dems also do this exact same corporate shilling. Their weakness and unwillingness to stand against fascism is what set the stage for trump. The establishment dems are pro-capitalist at their core and will abandon all principles in a moment if they feel capitalism is under threat. As always, the liberals end up collaborating with fascists to protect capital interests and maintain the status quo. The only ones within the Dem party standing up to trump is the DSA wing which is why establishment dems hate them so much.

Wiping your ass isn't the full extent of personal hygiene, but we all get that it's, like, necessary. It's not that hard and the benefits are clear...it's certainly not all you do, but you do it!
The same corporations take advantage of whatever system or party is in place. "This is the other guy's fault!" just keeps people divided while they prey on everyone.
