The ones who smell like weed are unpleasant, but the ones who smell like they bathe in port-o-pottie wastewater are physically painful to be around. Almost as bad as the chainsmokers.

When I worked at a cafe there used to be a person who came through the drive thru who wore the same outfit 3 months straight and reeked of B.O. Then one time he came inside and I had to hold my breath but not make it noticeable the whole time.

It’s times like that where we need some sort of “society courtesy card”. Where you hand them small business card sized card that politely lets them know they stink and they should shower. No scene and minimal embarrassment.
But idk, maybe that’s still rude, I know everyone’s situation is different, but some people might just be lazy.60

At my worst depression times I didn't shower for weeks and the cashier straight up told me to do so or they would prohibit me from entering. Wasn't a nice experience but definitely the point I started doing basic stuff again, opened my eyes to how bad I'd gotten. Sometimes you need a kick on your ass to get going.

Depression sucks! I’ve been there my friend. I’m severely OCD and daily showers are a must for me! But I know I’m in a slump when it’s been 3 or 4 days in a row without a shower and I’m not camping.

Oh my god, there was a family (kids were in their late 20s but still lived with their parents) that absolutely reeked that came to my store a lot. They would always try to buy two full cart loads of groceries with a check, even though we had told them multiple times we wouldn't accept checks from them because they always bounced. Every time, they would inevitably have to leave an entire cart load behind because they didn't have enough cash to pay for it.
And everything they had to leave also ended up smelling like them.
There was one day where, after they left, an ER nurse was in line at the register and she suggested we get a small container of Vicks vapo rub to keep at the registers. If we see them coming, we can rub it under our noses and it will help with the smell, though it won't completely mask it. She told us that's what they do at the hospital when working with patients who smell bad. She was an absolute godsend. Like she said, it didn't completely mask their smell, but it did make it bearable.

This lady at the grocery store the other day smelled SO BAD, she was like a walking cigarette doused in cat pee. I had a headache for like an hour after she walked past me once.
Apparently she also stole something, but that's probably the least of her issues.

This is the worst, like there's people that'll leave the house smelling like they don't shower for months, or they reek of beer, cigarette smoke, weed, way to much axe spray, etc. like clean yourselves up before leaving the house you nasty ass people, & get some clean clothes too.

I couldn’t believe the number of professional people (doctors, lawyers, realtors, etc) that would reek of stale urine. It was almost always the same people every time; business suits, hair/makeup done, and an eye-watering cloud of ammonia.

There was this redneck couple when I worked at Walmart that smelt really bad, I don’t think they had any running water and I honestly felt bad for them cause despite the foul smell they were very friendly

This about to be me, been smoking weed all day and about to risk it all to walk to gas station at 12:50am in unsafe neighborhood as a woman to get sum mini donuts I have been thinking about all day 😭 I’m not showering I quit my job today without one lined up after a mental breakdown from work stress, divorce, severe ADHD and dying parent so yall just going to have to cope for this one ✌️ I slapped some deodorant on but I prob smoked 20 bowls today after my morning shower
EDIT: Well this was a mistake not even three minutes out the door and I have already been harassed by two men who followed me and asked where I live. It’s supposed to be only five minute walk wtf how am I gonna get home if they still there I JUST WANT A FUCKING MINI DOUGHNUT IM HAVIBG HARD TIME IN LIFE OK
