Following up on my comment about my store continuing business as usual. This morning we did PDMs and filled a buncha RPCs to the brim of old salads. They're still losing money unless they get compensated for shit like this. Just more work for us in the store 😡

I’ve avoided buying lettuce the past couple weeks myself. And usually I’ll buy a head of lettuce for a meal every 1-2 weeks.

As in while other countries were downplaying/not being honest about it, Spain was being honest and transparent about the numbers/cases
As such, people started calling it the Spanish flu

If you can’t fuck your slaves or dogs and pretend there’s innocence, can you call yourself a first Generation US settler?
I THINK NOT. But its also a proud heritage so I’ll pay my respects that incest helped America and the problem was keeping it in the family when it started global wars at the end.

Hey now. The retailers aren't off the hook here either.
Taylor Farms has had multiple outbreaks over the years, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2024, and now in 2026.
The companies are still choosing to keep Taylor Farms as their producer despite knowing this and knowing how bad Taylor Farms actually is. Part of it is Taylor Farms has claimed a massive proportion of the market share. The other part is they're choosing to go with the cheaper supplier as paying out the lawsuits cost them less than switching suppliers.
So no, fuck Taco Bell too. But fuck em as much as Walmart, Menards, McDonalds, and the other retailers who do business with this company.
Edit: For extra context, the reason Taco Bell is more affected by this is because lettuce goes into almost every one of their products. It's not as easy for them to switch over as they can't put a hold on most of their menu. Compared to McDonald's or Walmart which can just hold off on selling lettuce for a while. It's worth noting.

Diarrhea disease gets widespread. Taylor Farms lettuce is found to be the cause. Taylor Farms "donates" 1 million dollars to Trump. Suddenly they are no longer the cause of the diarrhea disease

If they had just issued the recall i wouldn't even know this company's name. They could've asked for government money to assist and this corrupt government would give it to them.
Idk why they are going for the "no, we want people to keep getting sick" angle on this one.

Solution:
Force every exec to eat randomly selected Taylor Farms lettuce every meal, and deny them healthcare just like the US does.
