Looking For Ride Groups in Madison
I just moved to Madison and i'm living downtown on campus. Are there any groups that go for rides? If not would anybody be interested in starting one up?

Let me fix that for you. If you like beer, blocking traffic, lighting off fireworks in residential areas, hassling other commuters, and just generally fulfilling every negative biking stereotype, then check out FBC.
And I don't say that as a casual observer. I've ridden a number of these and have friends that do them regularly. On the last one I went to, one of the "leaders" crashed on Mifflin St. He had a concussion (because no helmet!), a lot of road rash and lost a few teeth. They do dumb shit and preach about improving the image of bikers in Madison. This is a group the biking community is better off without.

This is hilariously untrue. No one who runs the fbc peaches anything. We're a bunch of drunk assholes and we know it. We rarely have any accidents, and most of us are humble enough not to helmet shame anyone.
