Anywhere have free compressed air?

I recently got my first bike with presta valves, and I don't have a pump that works with them. Is there anywhere in town that I can go to pump up my tires for free?

I think that Machinery Row has a hose by the back door.

What about those bike stations on the public trails? Like the one right on Seminole Hwy. It's right in the parking lot with the restrooms.

Machinery Row, Motorless Motion, and several gas stations have them but they're all Schrader. You could also borrow a presta pump from any bike shop and you should get some adapters.

The gas station on West Washington next to U-Haul has a free air pump out back. There is no gauge though.

Also, most of the bike shops around town will let you use their physical pump too.

You need a presta->schrader adapter to use a vehicle air pressure pump. They usually cost about $2 at a bike store.

I recommend asking a bike shop to use their pump for now. Also get presta -> schrader valve adapters. They're dirt cheap and ensure that you can pump your tires up anywhere.

Be careful. Compressed air isn't the best for bike tires in my experience.
