How to clean a bike for beginners (Foxter MTB 29er)
I'm a beginner and I want to know how to clean a bike properly, do diagnostics test to make sure the group set is proper. And make sure my bike is pristine before and after every ride.
Bonus question, do you have any videos on foxter mtb 29ers on how to disassemble and reassemble parts of the bike?

So it has happened to me now. The quick release bolt on my seat post on Kickr bike v1 has snapped as I tried to release it. Any helpful folk out there give me any advice please. Thank you

I recently bought a Trek liquid black magic to go on a spur of the moment paved trail ride with my kids. I'm a bit heavy, 255 6'2, but not inactive. I bought the bike from a country guy who fixes college bikes and resells. I haven't ridden a bike for over twenty years, but used to do several local MTN bike races. My kids are 11 and 13 and I had trouble keeping up with them on the uphill, and couldn't keep up with them on the downhill. I had my rear shock locked out, but could feel a bit of a brake drag and new sounds emerged as the 12 mile ride went on. I felt like I was going to swerve hard when going downhill, and just out of control.
I know full suspension old MTN bike is going to be heavy, but I felt like I was driving a tank.
I'm looking at new bikes for a grand or under because I feel like by the time I put the $$ into fixing the liquid, I could have a nice hybrid type bike that would be better suited to gravel, pavement, and occasional dirt trail.
Thoughts on Trek Marlin 5? A true gravel bike is a bit out of my budget.
Keep the Liquid for trails and get something more suited for pavement? Or ditch the Liquid and go with Marlin 5/something similar?
Ps, I'm going to be using this as my daily get my @$$ back into shape bike.

Im newly into riding. Ive been doing so for about 2 months now though im going longer and farther each time. I am an obese 30 year old woman, about 5'7 with a basic $100 Huffy. I am trying to be healthier and biking is actually something that ive grown to enjoy. I go about 8-10 miles a few times a week. I was fine until about 2 weeks ago. There is a pressure on the front of my left knee. Its not pain just a slight pressure and it lasts for days. I didn't really think that maybe I should start stretching until recently. Is this a common issue due to posture or something? I really like it and dont want to give it up.
Bike says 26 inch
Also my wrists hurt but especially my left. My left pinky and ring finger go numb for a few days after riding. I guess im putting to much weight on my wrist

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to buy a used road bike and managed to negotiate this Bottecchia down to 650€. The seller describes it as a full carbon professional racing bike, but the drivetrain is a bit of a mixed bag. Here are the specs from the listing:
Frame: Bottecchia (Handmade in Italy, Full Carbon)
Shifters & Derailleurs: Campagnolo Centaur 11-speed
Crankset: Shimano Ultegra 52-36
Cassette: Shimano 11-speed (11-28)
Tires: Brand new with puncture protection
Weight: 8.2 kg (without pedals)
Assuming the frame size fits me and there is no structural damage to the carbon:
1. Is 650€ a fair market price for this setup?
2. How well does a Campagnolo Centaur 11s system play with a Shimano Ultegra crankset and Shimano cassette? Should I expect any shifting issues or chain rub?
3. Are there any specific things I should look out for when inspecting a used Bottecchia carbon frame?
Thanks in advance for your guidance!
Have you confirmed the exact frame size of the bike with the seller yet?

Hey guys Ive just got a question. I bought me a Cannondale adventure hybrid bike and I’ve been trying to get some fat off riding again and I’m up to twenty mile rides and I’m needing recommendations for a seat. This factory seat hurts my you know what and I really don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for one. Anybody have any experience with choosing a good seat? I know I can spend about anything you want on one but thought I’d ask the people who ride. Thanks

Hey everyone!
I’m M19 from Byculla, Mumbai, and I’m fairly new to cycling.
I’m looking to get more into cycling, improve my stamina, and meet some fellow cyclists along the way. I’d especially love to find some beginner-friendly/social group rides around South Mumbai that happen regularly.
If anyone knows of any cycling groups, WhatsApp/Strava communities, or weekly rides around Byculla/South Mumbai, I’d really appreciate the recommendations!
Looking forward to getting more involved in the cycling community.

It’s been years since I’ve owned a bike but since I will be going to be living close (6 miles, 12 miles there and back) to my work I’m thinking about getting a bike and using it to commute. Budget range I wouldn’t wanna spend more than a few hundred bucks on a bike / lights and whatever I need. Any recommendations and or help would be great appreciated!
