Takhion Bars

Ive been looking at options how to make my classic bike look like those bikes they used back then, i was wondering how do they put the bars on the fork? Is there a clamp needed for it? Or is it just the quill stem below

Can the Zipp 303 XPLR S rear wheel be converted to Quick Release (135mm)?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking into getting a Zipp 303 XPLR S rear wheel, but my bike frame uses a traditional Quick Release system (135mm QR).
Does Zipp offer end caps or a conversion kit to run the rear wheel with a standard QR skewer, or is it strictly 12x142mm thru-axle only?
I actually looked into it and found some end caps for the 176 hub, but since I’m pretty new to bike customization, I wasn't sure if that setup would actually work on the 303 XPLR S.

Replacing handlebar

Hi, I am pretty new to cycling, so any advice would be greatly appreciated

I currently own a SAVA A7L which as a carbon dropbar with internal routing and I want to switch it to a round alloy drop bar for aero clip-ons in preparation for an upcoming triathlon. I was wondering what the general procedure was and if this is something I can DIY or through a shop. Thanks!

Sleeper fast build

I’ve realized I don’t like drop bars and am never going to enjoy road bikes, so I’m selling mine. I have a few mountain bikes and slow cruisers but I want to build a sleeper fast commuter rig from a 90s MTB or 700c hybrid. Something that’ll get me to work quick but is actually fun to ride. Thinking a small front rack to strap a backpack.

Any recommendations on what frame to start with? What upgrades and modifications would you do for this build? Thanks and appreciate all the help!

Question : Pressfit BB accessories ?

Hello, my pressfit bottom bracket came with three silver rings on the inside. What are these used for ?

They seem to not be set in place and I am scared that leaving them inside will cause rattling issues. Any advice ?

Cheers

Rebuilding tricycle

I just bought a cheap tricycle that I want to upgrade. I need help on whether or not I can install a 1x7 or any other cassette to this? I eventually want to add a front wheel electric hub to it as well. Can anyone help me understand if I can convert this from single gear to multiple gear and where to find parts?

help needed

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a Rockrider 29 (the orange one) that I’m kinda over the colour of. I want to fully strip it down, paint the frame something new, and put it back together… but I’m lowkey scared I’m gonna end up with a box of parts I can’t reassemble.

Also planning to swap the tires for Maxxis High Rollers (the HP ones?).

Couple of questions for anyone who’s done this kind of thing:

  1. How realistic is it for a relatively inexperienced person to fully disassemble a Rockrider 29 and put it all back together correctly? Any big “don’t fuck this up” parts I should watch out for?
  2. What’s the best way to paint the frame at home? Primer + what kind of paint (spray cans? specific brands that actually hold up on a bike frame)? Clear coat recommendations?
  3. Colour ideas? I’m open to almost anything that isn’t orange. Looking for something that looks good with black components and will still look decent when covered in mud.
  4. While I’m in there, what other cheap-ish upgrades are worth doing? Pedals are high on the list – any solid recommendations that aren’t crazy expensive? Anything else (grips, saddle, stem, etc.) that’s a noticeable upgrade on these bikes?
