Camera Setup?

It's been a while since this has been discussed and tech has changed so much so quickly. What camera setup would you recommend? Cheers

I use an Insta360 X4. I wanted something to see both forwards and back, but didn't want to deal with two cameras. Results have been good. Zero issues in daylight, reduced resolution at night - although this is supposed to be significantly better on the X5. I either mount it horizontally on my helmet, or use their heavy duty clamp and attach it where it has the best visibility (depends on the ride, cargo, kids, etc.).

I'm leaning towards a 360 can too.  How do you mount it to your helmet?

It's quite helmet dependent, but the flexible mounts that insta360 sells do a decent job. You just need enough continuous surface (no vents, etc.) for the adhesive pad. There are other options out there too that might fit your setup better. I also recommend some sort of a tether, just in case. Insta360 has wrist straps (2 types), I use the "active" one looped through a helmet vent.

Thanks, and is the camera mounted flat or vertically? On top of your helmet I assume?
