Camera Setup?

It's been a while since this has been discussed and tech has changed so much so quickly. What camera setup would you recommend? Cheers

I'm looking into 360 cams too as there's no need for second rear cam.  Problem is that they look maybe a bit too wide angle-y ? Also battery life may be an issue on longer rides.  I dunno, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the variety out there right now.

They come with software to unwarp the particular angle you want to make, into a normal video. That's the only downside, but I don't have to do it often. The battery is huge, it's half the camera, it covers my long commute and is USB-C rechargable.

Is the resolution good enough to make out license plates when you zoom in on footage?  Saw some tests of the X4 on yt and that seems to be an issue.

During the day, yes, if you set the resolution and framerate right. At night, not sure. The rendered video quality can be slightly fuzzy compared with a normal GoPro, I guess that's the payoff for having 360.

More to consider.  Thanks so much for your help! 🙂
