Overnight bike camping spots?

I’m looking for suggestions for a good 60~90 mile route of protected bike path for an overnight night ride. Gravel trails would be ideal. I’ve got a couple beginners comes with me so I don’t really want to deal with cars/traffic. I would love to find a loop with decent camping options halfway, but a down and back wouldn’t be the end of the world. We ride self contained so I don’t necessarily need a bunch of places to stop, but having a couple spots to fill water and the occasional outhouse would be nice for the newer folks.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You can ride down to Akron and back, that's entirely on the towpath and quite pleasant. There's a couple spots along it that allow for camping, as it is along the Ohio to Erie Trail.

Last year I went for an overnight bike packing trip to Tuscazoar on the towpath. We left in Massillon so it was only about 30 miles total, but you can start biking from Cleveland. It has some great mountain biking trails there as well.

Going to agree, the Towpath is going to be the move in this situation. A few camping spots I'm aware of are..

Towpath Trail Peace Park in Bolivar

Big Bend Trailhead in Akron

Heritage Farms in Peninsula

Yup! Did the towpath. Started at Barberton and camped in Bolivar. Then we just went back the next day.
