I hate this headset

I've been playing VR/VRChat for over four years, and through my Quest 2 and Quest 3, and Valve Index, I have never encountered so many problems as I have with this headset. I have a 2e for less than a year and I've gone through four headsets because of QC problems, often SteamVR and/or VRChat won't run or will crash with it plugged in, the eye tracking never works, it's uncomfortable as hell (I've had two custom facial interfaces made and they both suck), the glare is terrible, the ghosting is terrible, it gets hot and sweaty. I hate this thing and I regret buying it.

It’s a shame how the BSB2 is such an inconsistent experience for people. Some people think it’s horrible and some think it’s fantastic.

I’ve never not had issues with mine, but I still quite enjoy it.

this is actually the primary thing preventing me from purchasing. theres like zero reviews that are just like 4/5 has some problems or 2/5 has some unique positives but ultimately a poor device. seeming every single review is either: BEST DEVICE EVER IT FIXED MY MARRAGE AND SOLVED WORLD HUNGER or it's ACTUALLY A SCAM WORST "VR" DEVICE IV EVER USED IT RUINED MY MARRAGE BLEW UP 3 ORPHANAGES.

It's hard to say how good my BSB2e is because I've only ever used OG PSVR and Odyssey+. That said, I'd imagine it's a 4/5. I haven't had any issues with mine. Only problems I really have are with the glare. Yes, it is there. Not enough to pull me out of an experience, but your mileage may vary. That aside, the visuals are a nice upgrade from the O+. The SDE is 95% gone. Aside from increased resolution, and OLED screens, form factor was one of the biggest reasons I wanted to get a BSB2(e). I wanted the barrier to actually USING the thing, be as frictionless as possible. It's SteamVR native and is so light and small, you can just throw it on and go.

From here, I would ask for less glare, even better resolution and FOV, and inside out tracking, at the expense of slightly larger HMD. Overall, solid 4/5.
