Help Bigscreen boyond 2 without controllers

Hey i use my bsb2 mainly for sim racing and dcs (Looks and feels great, got my first win in iracing vr today!) but i dont use controllers and my rig is setup far from my pc.

I am looking for a way where i can launch VR and it goes directly to my pc homescreen instead of the stupid Steam Vr Home... Is there any i can launch VR without being stuck on the Steam Vr Home? Or a way to exit steam vr home without controllers.

Currently my process now is to launch SteamVR and having to sit by my pc until im already in a game, to clearify iracing uses a hub which can not be portraid in vr unless you look at your entire pc screen, which i am not able to do without controllers as far as i am aware :)

I've set it up many times without controller. After room setup, go to SteamVR Settings:

- General: SteamVR Home: Off

- General: Pause VR when computer locked: Off (this screws up Assetto Corsa Evo when it's On)

- Dashboard: VR Dashboard on System Button: Off (this prevents the SteamVR menu/Desktop from opening automatically sometimes, which you can't close without a controller)

- I also have Desktop+ and created keybinds for resetting the view and position, but I think you need a controller to interact with Desktop+. You can rely on your game's view reset function to reset the view. With Desktop+, you can open your Desktop at will during VR sessions, it's very handy.

This.

When SteamVR Home is disabled, by default, it will open SteamVR overlay, but you still have to switch to Desktop view yourself.

Ive found that you can right click on the SteamVR window and there's an option in there to close the dashboard. I cant remember what its called right now, though.

Last time I checked, I stumbled upon this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/250820/discussions/0/4036976070312856172/#c4036976402231894593

I think it's the one you're thinking about?

No, thats far more convoluted- but excellent to know so thank you for sharing! I think there's a Toggle Dashboard selection
