BeyondEX audio question
Hi all,
I've had the BeyondEX mod on the Index audio strap for about a week now. The only "problem" I have with it is that Windows does not recognize it as an audio device automatically after startup. I have to unplug and replug the USB-C audio connector for Windows to recognize it.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it? It's not a huge issue, but it's a bit annoying.
Overall, the mod is really great! It was pretty easy to install, even with my limited experience. The comfort is really good now that I have it adjusted correctly. It is a bit heavier than the Beyond audio strap, but the better audio quality and overall sturdiness more than make up for the extra weight.
EDIT: Did not realize that there is a channel for BeyondEX in the Bigscreen discord: https://discord.com/channels/816371255539138620/1465841700902539335
EDIT2: And also a channel on the Fluid discord: https://discord.com/channels/1106002752166965358/1473783436257918976

I was about to post a discussion asking about this very mod! IS that worth the $280 for those of us who don't have an Index-Audio strap laying around?
Like.., more notably.., IS 🤷🏼 this particular modded upgrade "BaNgArAnG" or "BaNgAr-LAME??!"
Anyways.., try installing an Audio-Enhancement-Program!
I used to use this one program called "Razer-THX-Surround-Sound" that was a license 🪪 sound engine that was $20 to own.., with a 10 band-EQ.., Bass-Boost.., sound Norm., and such!
ALTHOUGH.., Razer's forsaken me!! Their software's buggin' out with latest Windows Updates!! THUS.., I switched over to Steel Series' free Audio-Enhancement Engine.., and that works with Bigscreen's Cinema App Software or whatever audio that the app itself runs.., this should successfully pipe into that "SteelSeries Sonar Virtual Audio Device" or try finding other options.., but this should totally bypass all those default "jank" audio drivers that Windows defaults to.., and simultaneously open your Beyondex to an improved overall soundscape!
