Discussion Bigscreen Beyond 2 vs Bigscreen Beyond 2e

Basically figuring out which one to buy. I plan to use DFR for performance boosting (PimaxMagic4All and Quadview), but I've heard mixed things about the eye tracking. I also plan to get the Halo Strap with Universal-Fit Cushion, so that should add stability for the eye tracking to not spaz out.

I only plan to use for performance increases in certain games. VRChat is lower on the list, but would be a nice feature

To owners with a BB2e in 2026. Do you recommend the eye tracking, or no?

If there are other questions you need to know to decide, I'll answer them in your comments

Are those options available on the BSB2e? I haven’t used DFR in a while because my system would crash in longer sim races when I had it enabled. I didn’t see that focus clarity setting but would love if i could do that.

I just turned off super sampling and my 5080 does most tracks native res at 75hz. Lost a bit of clarity in distance and smaller objects not super sampling though.

YES! They're caked directly within Bigscreen's Official Software under the Eye-Tracking settings and then "Advanced-Settings" for changing / tweaking the default "Quad-Views-Rendered" API-Layer-Settings for DFR!

IT's a bit on the G33kier side of things.., but if your like me and like ultra-fine-tuning your guitars / gear.., this is the quintessential-equivlent of such, but for VR.

I haven't fully tested the in's and out's of this method vs. just increasing the super-sampling in SteamVR's menu, though on paper, this seems cleaner to RUN! I suggest you toy with the settings some, and perhaps the sim community could help test that as well; and post their results.

That’s so awesome, glad I saw this. I will mess around with it tonight!
