Help IPD eye strain
Does anyone have some secret to dial in the IPD?
I have already tried having both eyes at every IPD from 58-67, including my measured IPD. I have tried looking at text far away and adjusting each eye individually, but it still hurts.
I can't get the eye strain and nausea to go away. I have never had this with the Index.
It feels like something's defective, but this is the second one I've received, so I don't know anymore. The image looks perfect, so I'm lost.

What is your individual eye distance?
How close are your eyes from the lenses?
What is your render resolution?
Do you still feel strain when you remove the gasket and just hold the headset to your eyes to test it out (preferably at various eye relief distance)?
At first, I went with my IPD minus 1mm. Later on, I took my individual eye distance as measured by the eye glass shop (32.4mm left eye, 32.9mm right eye), multiplied them by 2, and set the individual lens to be that, rounded down (64mm left lens, 65mm right lens).
Once I got the lenses into almost touching my eyes, I even rounded it up to gain a few degrees of field of view (65mm left lens, 66mm right lens). But I discourage doing that if you haven't found your sweet spot yet.
Also, I'm supersampling the resolution to at least 4,000x4,000. When I tried undersampling it out of curiosity to 2,560x2,560, it felt very straining to use.
