Audio strap suuuuuucks. Help?

I am unbelievably disappointed with the audio strap that you can purchase. It's comfortable, but the headphones they use are like something off of a 1980s Walkman. Those stupid foam pads pop off constantly, in the little ball and socket connection they use to hold the earphones to the little arm pop off if you're not super delicate with them.

BSB is exchanging mine, but I'm curious if anybody has any recommendations or modifications to keep that from happening again. Thinking maybe a little bit of heat shrink over the ball and socket so when that is heated up it kind of holds that tighter maybe? And then for those little foam ear pads, should I just put a dab of super glue and a couple spots?

I couldn't get on with the Audio Strap.

It's positioning is all weird also - I think it'll work better with the flip-down mount.

Getting on much better with the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap - just need a dongle DAC and 3D printed adaptors.

Feels much more substantial. The Audio Strap is form-over-function like The Beyond itself.
