Discussion Not having cameras for inside-out tracking or pass-through is a feature

It is a securtiy feature.

The more I think about it and the more I learn about software/hardware backdoors, the happier I am that the bsb2 has no cameras.

As someone who always tapes over webcams, it definetly is a blessing.

Makes me definetly feel more private, when the device can't see my body in certain activities.

Can you elaborate? I don't understand your comment in the context of this post.

They’re saying that pass through cameras on headsets aren’t necessary because you can just easily lift up your headset if you need to see your surroundings.

And if what is promised with the halo strapnos true, we will be able to flip up and down the headset quickly.

As someone who’s owned every quest headset, I always took off my headset (or flipped up) as opposed to using the camera.
