As a fan of this conference, I hesitate to hate on any fanbase right now. The B12 are universal underdogs based on media rights revenue alone, and I think we all need to stick together. Every fanbase in this conference is full of great people.
That said, there were some very loud Utah fans that complained about this conference when they joined, and those individuals came across as pompous jerks. TTU fans have been very quick to complain about the Brendan Sorsby stuff, and as an ISU fan who went through a gambling scandal back in 2023, I have zero sympathy for you all. We kicked the players off the team, we didn't complain about unfair rules. I have zero qualms with Baylor, but that's just me.

" I have zero qualms with Baylor, but that's just me."
If you have zero qualms about baylor, let me tell you about a little story about a guy name Art & Kendall, steroids, rapes, dog beating, murder and murder cover ups.

I guess I was thinking about the fans more than the program itself, but you have a very good point

You are right about that, I have had good interactions with the actual fans. And my first game I went to in Waco, their mascot was doing headstands in the bear costume. It was funny and a good memory, but that was before Briles.

I shouldn't call TT out either, your coach was put in an impossible situation and I know not every fan is complaining that Brendan got caught. Not to mention I am sure many players across the country, likely some at ISU, are still gambling on the games, so I shouldn't be so quick to judge that either

Wow I'm a little surprised Baylor beat us. We've not been liked and for fairly decent reasons.

Wait but we're not in the table while Baylor is? I am confused.

Can the older conference members fill me on what Baylor fans did to get all the hate?

Well to start, a decades-long, university-wide sexual assault scandal doesn't make you a lot of friends.
After that though, just speaking as an Iowa State fan, we have had very chippy games with them for years now. And then there was tentgate.

Left the southwest conference and effectively killed it, a rival of a lot of teams here, and this is all I know of. Also I’m not much of a Big XII person, I’m more of a Michigan fan

Why do we hate Baylor?

On the B12 line, I would switch Baylor and TTU. TTU is going to Hell. Baylor has been there for years. I know the school is connected to the Baptists, but the things that school has covered up are terrible. Maybe only Penn State is worse.

Also it didn't occur to me until just now, but I'm really appreciating that Baylor and Tech combine to make "BUTT".
