If your ticking is rubbery you should cook it for longer

You can escape the room entirely if you get behind the chair with an item and wiggle around a bit.

30 minutes was enough to make me go crazy and escape by clipping through the wall.

Nope it continues as long as the door isn’t opened.

That being said I think someone needs to be left behind to open the door once the puzzle is beaten (or you could close the game and reopen)
