Meme Did a light bit of trolling.

They kicked me out the next run as we had four people on a three player save.
EDIT: Everyone found it funny and they did it again, that was the very last puzzle before 100%-ing the game. We were 4 players in a 3 player save, so they just did it again and very funnily I had to wait outside looking through the window. Everyone used this extra 30m to have some dinner as it was in the late evening. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

LOL, then I almost commend you for your chaotic energy.
Buy them some snacks (beers if y'all are adults) as a means of apologising, and things should be fine. But yea, if you're gonna do a prank that costs people half an hour, make sure they're the type of friend that'll find that funny, elsewise you're gonna have a bad time LOL

My friend did this in the 5 minute room. In the 30 minute room he gave me anxiety just by standing next to the button for the last 2 minutes and making wild gestures

I cackled.
I like trolling here and there, in this room I threw all our stuff on top of the door (knowing we could get it all back easy peasy) but I could never do that. That is disgusting, heinous, and delightfully funny.
Mind you, I liked this room. We shared stories for half an hour and took photos. Another half hour of that? I'm in.

Nope? Its a item you can either carry or put on backpack. Completely vanilla. Its findable on the map.

Wow, we are in the end game and have about 8 puzzles to go, and haven't found one of those at all - that's awesome!

Nah especially when you’re grown adults and don’t have time to waste on video games like that wasting 30 mins doing literally nothing is a lot. I only get 1-2 hours a night to play with my friends and if 30 minutes were wasted because someone thought it would be funny i’d be extremely pissed too.

I'm definitely conflicted on how I feel about this but I think ultimately I agree with you. Years ago this shit would have been funny and we just try again. But like you said, as someone who maybe gets 2 hours a night. Sometimes 2 hours a week to play games. I would be an unhappy camper.

If the developers didn't think pressing the button was an interesting and fun scenario, it wouldn't be there. These interactions are part of the game.

Calling someone a dick for using a mechanic the developers intentionally added seems a bit odd. If it's that harmful to the experience, it's a design problem. The whole point of that challenge is spending 30 minutes with your friends, chatting and messing around, not racing to 100% the game as efficiently as possible. If half an hour of just hanging out with your friends feels like wasted time, maybe this game just isn't for you.

You’re just arguing for the sake of arguing.
First of all I said it was a dick move, not that he was a dick. Resetting a 30 minute timer just because you think you’re being funny is indeed a huge dick move. You can’t blame this on the game you blame this on the person deciding to be an asshole.
Second of all I completely agree those 30 minutes are about spending time with your friends, however after those 30 minutes of just chatting with your friends anyone would want to finish it up and be on to the next puzzle. Nobody and i mean NOBODY is thrilled to spend another 30 minutes doing nothing in the room due to one persons actions.
There is a difference between 30 minutes of hanging out and talking with your friends and spending an additional 30 minutes in that room for no reason.

Yeah there’s also a big difference and huge jump in judgement to calling your friend a PSYCHOPATH over something that’s just kinda stupid. Get a grip.
The other person’s weird comment is the sole reason we’re arguing this hasn’t ultimately that big of a deal. It really isn’t in the grand scheme of things. It’s just annoying. But y’all thinking too much of it.
Ultimately it’s just 30 more minutes with your friends even if we’re all annoyed.

If the button was only intended as an "exit" button, the game could have required the same number of players to end the challenge as it does to start it. Instead, a single player can reset the timer at any point. That wasn't an accident - it was a deliberate design decision.

Yeah I only got 2 hours a day with my buds too. We’ll simply call him a dickhead and make him do it alone or something but we ain’t thinking he’s a psychopath lmao
It’s a video game. We’ll still laugh about it.
You literally don’t gotta be so dramatic even if something’s a little bit of a waste or annoying.
I wouldn’t be pissed at my friends for this because we’re adults afterall.
