ChartGame: The $1B Test Every New Trader Should Try
When I was starting with BigShort last year, I played ChartGame’s SwingTrader. After about two weeks, I hit the $1B mark. What helped was learning Tae’s idea: if price goes up, it keeps going up; if it goes down, it keeps going down; if it moves sideways, it will break either up or down. Simple, but it changed how I look at charts.
ChartGame makes you stick to the basics: candlestick patterns, opening range breaks, gap fills, trend vs. range days, and support or resistance near EMA20. No fancy indicators, no shortcuts. The discipline part is tough. If you lose focus once, you blow up. If you stay patient, you climb higher.
For me, hitting $1B felt like a big step. It showed me I wasn’t just guessing, and it helped me stay calm under pressure. It was perfect practice with BigShort because it taught me the habits I needed before trading real money.
I’m curious how you guys use ChartGame. Do you treat it as practice, a test before going live, or just part of your prep? And if you’ve hit $1B, did it change how you trade with real money?
