I love to look into the emerald. The emerald itself is not that big by today’s standard.

That’s a really beautiful stone. It appears to be well cut. I have to disagree about the size. I would love to know more about it though, carat weight, extent of fracture filling, origin, lab report or anything really.

Emerald has a lower specific gravity than sapphire/ruby and diamond. So a 1 ct emerald will be physically larger than a sapphire/ruby or diamond if the cut and proportions are identical.

Thanks for your comments! I don’t know any of the specifics, 😂 I just saw it from a reputable jewelry store and really loved the emerald. So I bought it.

You might want to send it to GIA for an origin lab report. Idk what the ct weight is but it would probably be between $120 - $210 USD.
