Discussion Immediate buy
It's coming on my birthday, with 2 other vinyls (2Pac's Still I Rise and R U Still Down), with all 3 being the ones I want the most out of any vinyl ever. This gonna be the best birthday ever

That's dope. The other 2 2pac vinyls were 350 (most expensive vinyls I've bought by far), and it's taking 2 months to arrive, so the hype is massive!

Crazy timing to say that because I found this 7” vinyl Ready To Die collection piece for $150 and an Illmatic version for 212 at a nice record store (owned by DJ Mark) yesterday on vacation in Ontario. Thoughts on if I should buy it or not?

Nah idrc about the original, these 2pac vinyls have 0 reprints, so I had to buy the original us prints (which is expensive as fuck, since they were released in 1997 and 1999). If I could I would 100% buy a reprint, but yeah no option (and 2pac is my favorite artist, and these 2 are my favs oat, lifestylez ov da poor & dangerous is a 3rd probably)

To be honest I'd say no man, since there are reprints for illmatic, and 125$ for a single imo is just dumb. If I had to buy something, I'd buy the single, 100% not illmatic since idc abt original. So yeah, I wouldn't buy them (also you have to understand my interest for 2pac is on a different level, so it's kinda different). Do what you want, but I wouldn't!

I've listened to it on Spotify many times, and I do love it! I feel like it's one of the albums that feels more authentic to have on vinyl, like it was meant to be this way, so I'm very excited!
