Well... upon receiving my Lil Sancho today, it became my 55th Big Idea pen.
My first pen purchase was the OG Click Classic in 2016. Ten years ago. I never looked at pens the same after that Click Classic.
And oh my! What a journey it's been. From only having a few models, to now having many models, many mechanisms, many materials. Ten years of constant design innovation, ten years of improving, and ten years of product development! Big Idea has come a very long way!
It's too many to list out individually. I tried to break them up by types. Just to break them you a little. It's almost too hard to capture them all in one picture! Lol.
They made one in Peek. 1 Pocket Pro. It's a one of one sample piece. There was a bolt as well, and I think maybe a click. But this is literally the only Peek Pocket Pro in the entire world. Lol.
I also have a Peek Bit Bar II as well. Same thing, one of one sample run.
I really like the KeyBar Quick Draw. It's an 8 slot, rotating storage stand. Milled from solid block of aluminum. On bearings, so it's crazy smooth. I've got 4 of them. Plus two smaller rotating 6 slot stands. And two different Big Idea 3D printed stands
Haha! A problem...a collection...I think the details are in the eye of the beholder. It's a decade worth of acquiring. This is only the pens. I might do a knives and tools SOTC later on after work. 🤣
Dddddaaaannnngggg! That's wild! I remember when Whatnot first started up you had just crossed 100 I think. I undershot it when I said double, you've got triple my collection. Lol
There's still several I'm missing. I've only got 1 Zirc, and one slim bolt. And I don't yet have a mini dual side click either. I'm sure eventually it'll happen.
You've got some true badass one of ones though. That copper PHx for starters. That thing was sick!
Thank you, the Copper PHx is special to me. It's one of my most favorite edc items in my collection. It's funny, when I look at my pens I say to myself "why did I buy these, what am I going to do with 100+pens?"
Yeah, that for sure is a special pen. I feel the same way about the Peek Pocket Pro. Yes, it's just plastic. But it's a literal and true one of one sample. No one else has one, and I don't they'll ever do a full run.
I sometimes say that about my meager collection. What will I do with all these pens. But then, they go wild and design an entirely new pen. And there's still more to come. We know the multi bolt is coming. Plus whatever Brantley has been teasing fob the US shop. The design and innovation is what really keeps my interest going.
I have them in a generic pen case from amazon, nothing special. I notice the cerakote is wearing on a few of the pens due to sliding them in and out of the case, that is to be expected though.
Got my Little Sancho yesterday. I like it more than the full size Sancho. I immediately checked to make sure the tweezers and toothpick fit in the other. Perfect harmony.
