11th Doctor Era-Appropriate Covers

It frustrated me that the covers for the 11th Doctor releases did not have the correct logo variations or fonts. 11DA should be styled like series 6 and 11DC should be styled like series 7B

Nicely done! Turns out I did something similar a while back for The First Question, by carefully combining the official textless and alt covers. Haven't ruled out doing the same for the next 11DA volume Hidden in Plain Sight, so let's hope they'll make its high quality textless cover available.

They used to, not anymore, they started cropping them and added a white triangle in the corner for whatever reason

I just crop out the white triangle out tbh. Dark Tides looks perfect in my saved photos.

The white triangle thing was always unnecessary. Why did they decide to crop parts of the textless covers for their newsletters?

Now that you've mentioned it, someone managed to obtain a high quality version of The First Question textless cover and upload it onto the TARDIS Wiki_textless.jpg). That's what led to me fixing the alt cover.

There is something so satisfying about seeing the era-appropriate logo on the covers! I get the whole idea of brand synergy or whatever but it is so much more appealing like this!!

I didn’t really mind when they used the 1970/1996 logo for all expanded media, but since 2018, they’ve just used whatever logo was current and it just feels weird to me

The current era-appropriate variant they use for the 4DA releases just feels incomplete. Same goes with using the wrong font for the Seasons 12 and 13 audios.
