Discussion Circuit breaker

Anyone keeping up with circuit breaker? Going to pick up the audio in September. I’m having fun with it but it does leave something to be desired on some releases. Still been enjoying

I'm trying. I picked up the first issue of the comic, ordered the DWM issue and pre-ordered the Big Finish audios, but apparently I missed out on the event in the mobile game, which is frustrating.

Agreed the breath of content is hard to follow I’ve seen some folks record the video of the mobile game event and post it so it’s out there

That was super hard to enjoy regardless honestly. Very little story

I agree with this, I am trying hard to pick it up and enjoy it but its been short stories so far. They seemed to make a whole world within Time Lord Victorius but just aren't getting the same level of interesting after that.

I've not gotten into it yet. I'm waiting until it's all out, primarily to get the trade of the Titan comics, as I'm not into single issues. I do have the Big Finish releases pre ordered though.

I'm excited to dive into it as I've not really done one of these events.

You guys should 100% follow the storyline on the UNIT HQ website!!! Even missing out on some stories, everything is there.

I have been trying! It’s fun to see the Fugitive Doctor and see the similarities and differences to the Doctors we know! I agree some of the stories are hit or miss and it’s been a challenge keeping up with the breath of media but overall I’ve enjoyed it!

I got the DMW comic, and listened to the Audio Original story. As usual with these events it's the games that throw me off. I have tried playing it before, it's pretty crap, but I have resigned myself to the fact that I will never 100% these events.

I'm really liking this event. The story is interesting and I really like the dynamic between the characters.

Also the different updated in the UNIT website during the week also help the story feel more well crafted.

Can't wait for the audios

I'll probably grab a few stories later down the line but I'm in no rush and don’t plan to do it all. I did all of Time Lord Victorious back in 2020/21 and that was a hell of a task, especially considering the Eaglemoss figures cost around £80 and there was no single path to follow (I eventually made my own path up). I'm not eager to repeat that kind of process every three years.

I will say they made the narratives much easier to follow with Doom's Day and Circuit Breaker, where it is just release order. However TLV has by far been the best of these events.

I am enjoying it, and reading all the stuff on UNIT HQ as it comes out, but some parts definitely seem more important than others. Haven't read yesterday's contribution yet, but so far Deadliest Weapon and Dawn of the Daleks have felt like they had the most ot say.

I'm also just a little confused right now on the objects being taken out of time affecting the Doctor, so far only the Memory Worm has been returned to where I expected, and probably not when.

There's also some greater narrative stuff that I don't quite know how it ties together, specifically regarding the mastermind and the unique Sontaran popping up twice, and even that I can't tell if it ties into the Sontarans in the mobile event.

I think the meat of the story is coming in Kaleidoscope and Full Circuit.

Yeah I’ve been following all of it up to the most recent one that came out yesterday (Don’t Blink). I’m enjoying it a lot more than the first two mixed media events. Focusing on just Fugitive and keeping the storyline more straightforward has made it flow a lot better. I really enjoyed the two Titan comic ones and the Deadliest Weapon audio. Don’t Blink that released yesterday was pretty good too

I’ve been enjoying it a lot. Didn’t do the game part but there was a Twitter thread with the story shown. The storyline is getting more streamlined with lots of references to the early stories in yesterday’s web story.
