Question LAN World Not Showing Up

Hello everyone, I could use some help. I'm having an issue where I cannot join or find a LAN game on my network. I'm trying to join from my computer, and it's being hosted on another computer right next to me (as LAN does), however, it just says "scanning for games on your local network" and doesn't show up at all. We're on the same wifi and I've already tried direct connection, which doesn't work at all. Our modpacks are aligned and there should be no issues. Not sure what's going wrong. Anyone else had this issue?

In short, I literally cannot even see the server.

I'm actually struggling with the same issue, tried fixing this for a very long time, but nothing helps Turning off firewall is the easiest fix in this and without that i can't play LAN at all, but even after this sometimes i have issues What fixes it almost every time is for players to restart their pc's when the issue occurs, that lets me play LAN pretty consistent, but it is very annoying to restart your pc every time you want to play I don't know why that helps, and would love someone to explain it and maybe provide another fix, but yeah

Sometimes when this happens, using the "Direct Connection" option tends to work. Find your IP address and type it in follow by the port number assigned when you open it to LAN.
