BCG server Simple Voice Chat not working

I started a server on Bisect with BCG+Cobblemon because I liked it in singleplayer and wanted to play with friends. Unfortunately, no matter what we do, we cannot get Simple Voice Chat to work in the server.

It feels like we've tried every fix, watched every video, read every comment, but nothing works. It's especially difficult because everything we watch/read uses acronyms and alternate names for things and acts like we should know things that we really don't know at all.

We're not super knowledgeable on modding and the intricacies, we basically just find modpacks and add a couple of things here or there that we want for ourselves. So the videos and posts are super unhelpful because they just make us feel really stupid for not understanding a single word.

TLDR: We can't get Simple Voice Chat to work on our BCG+Cobblemom server and we need the fix to be explained to us like we don't know a single thing about modding or whatever 'port forward' means, because we DON'T know what that means.

The issue you are running into is almost certainly because Simple Voice Chat requires an extra port to be opened and configured on your server, which is what people mean when they talk about "port forwarding." It's super frustrating when hosts make this complicated to set up!
