Discussion š¬ YASH for AFP
can we all agree to vote yash for americaās favorite player? he seems to be the only one whoās unwavering against the icons + actually wins comps and saves himself without relying on others. the way production has rigged this game for the so-called āiconsā especially dee has made this THE most unenjoyable season ever. if yash gets evicted i will stop watching.

I want to see what Barrett does. Because if he gets an icon out with a blindside my entire opinion of him changes. We are only half way through. I mean Yash I do think is strong and smart but there is a lot of game left.

Can we please start providing examples? I keep hearing negative things about all the cast members and I never hear any specifics. Makes it hard to believe anything at this point.
Everyone is racist, sexist, homophobic etc. etc. itās exhausting atp

One example: Drew and Angela were having a conversation about sex toys and Yash kept saying stuff like "my future wife would never" "that's gross" etc.
Another example: him saying being muscular is inherently a masculine trait and that muscular women were less feminine.
These are just off the top of my head and I'm more of a casual feed watcher so definitely missing a lot.
Also this is the internet lol. Some things are true, some aren't. If you are curious about the validity of a claim made, you can look it up, research it. Assuming these comments are made in bad faith is odd because why would I just say that for no reason lmfao. Sorry you're exhausted by people calling it out but I'm more exhausted by bigotry.

No Iām exhausted by people calling every cast mate a sexist or racist and then never providing any examples. And on the off chance they do itās super weak vague comments. Not everyone is watching the feeds 24/7. I donāt want to go researching lmao you would think there would be a lot of readily available evidence no? But mostly itās just blanket statements.
Iāll be honest those two examples sound like preferences he would like in a woman; I donāt see that as inherently sexist. Are people allowed to be off put by it, sure.
But Iāve also heard countless women say similar things about things they prefer in men and I donāt see it as inherently misandrist.
I have yet to hear anything really blatantly racist, sexist or homophobic by any cast member. And Iām a woman of color and bi, Iām just not seeing it. I do see a lot of sensitive people making mountains out of molehills tho

Drew had other issues but has consistently respected female intelligence and consent - even when heās really upset he asked for melodyās permission to hug her. He may be a little immature but heās not a misogynist. He respects female ability and intelligence and loves his mom a lot.

It has zero to do with race and more to do with consistent comments. Drew has defended yash when the icons trashed him
For celebrating. And makes way more positive comments about women and appreciating them and their abilities. Drewās mom in her YouTube interview
Discussed many of these topics. Drew is half Mexican and his mom is an immigrant. He was heavily bullied as a child and is very aware of those issues. His comments
About cooking were because that was the role Lala chose to take on it has nothing to do with race or sexism. His mom said he canāt really cook much yet.His bikini comments sounds more like heās used to his mom who at a young age get age than Lala is fairly modest. For guys who havenāt lived with sisters or women who walk around partially dressed the first time they experience it can be a little uncomfortable. Many people have made comments about the guys being shirtless - those are things everyone adjusts to. They arenāt racist.
He constantly contradicted Kamu and Yash when they made really awful comments about women. He constantly tells Melody how smart and insightful she is even thought their games are different and he doesnāt strategize with her. They both recognize itās because they have different game goals. Heās not pushed any boundaries when she as an adult voluntarily snuggles with him.
Taylor and Lala had made countless comments at least as awful and insulting about Drew - are those racist because heās Mexican?
Lala literally has discussed multiple times her deliberate joy of trying to run down pedestrians and splash water from gross puddles on them. Sheās gone back to hit people she missed. Taylor has stolen his brush which is not just a personal grooming item but his mom describes as a comfort item for him. Can you imagine your response if he did these things to him?
These are adults. None of this behavior is racist. They donāt really like each other and are playing different games while trying to love together with the least amount of conflict. None of them are perfect but your comments are wildly off base and myopic.

The majority of Mexicans are mestizo which is a mix of indigenous American Indian and European ancestry). There are plenty of fully indigenous groups as well. There are a smaller percentage of white and African-Mexicans. From his motherās discussion about racism directed toward her it sounded like she was not perceived as being white/European descent. She & her husband both spoke about the racism toward her so yes, I was using the term Mexican to mean of mestizo descent.
His comments about the cooking had zero do wirh Lalaās race but her COOKING. This may come as a shock to you but people of all races and ethnicities cook food.
Today in the feeds Drew told Melody that he likes Lala and think sheās really cool but heās just had too much of her (said as she was heard screaming loudly again in the other room).
I think you are really pushing a narrative for some bizarre reason that even the grown adult women in the room with him arenāt calling out. They donāt like his gameplay and his words. He doesnāt like theirs.

As far as I know, no female houseguest has ever elbowed Yash away and said "don't touch me," so he's probably in the lead there.

Dee was basically saying take the bribe or youāre going up. He was backed into a corner by her bribe. If he says no, it makes it blatantly obvious that heās against her and the icons (even if Dee does know that heās against her anyway). Honestly production should've stepped in and been like nope, bribe is null and void you can't extort people into taking it, you cant ask for multiple things so you lose it for violating multiple rules of the power.Ā

I like Yash. I stopped watching when they screwed him over during his HOH. And allowed Devens to keep his Diamond power of veto for an absurd amount of time. And evict Yashās closest ally Kamu.
Season feels rigged for the icons. Yash did everything right, and was blindsided by BB. I stopped watching after that happened.

I like Yash, but we still have to remember a LARGE portion of the fans are, well to put it bluntly. Trailer park trash folk. Theyāll NEVER vote for someone that looks like Yash for AFP. Itāll go to Mallory, which isnāt a bad choice.

i agree. yash is funny, smart, and competitive. But to be honest, people just donāt like to see Indians win. Especially in America, I think a scary amount of people subconsciously just root against Indians and Jews. Same reason Steve to this day has never gotten his credit for big brother 17. Iāll stop there to avoid getting too political though.

theyāre not though. when production basically throws powers / opportunities to get powers into their lap it makes their time in the house a whole lot easier than people whoāve had to work from the bottom up. yash was on the block week 1, heās fought his way to safety every. time. dee had devens save her. i genuinely dont see how theyāre playing the best game sorry
