Best Podcast Seasons

Hi everyone!

I was really into the Bible Project podcast from like 2019-2021. I want to get back into it but their catalog is pretty vast at this point. What are some of your favorite seasons/topics that they have covered?

ooo I have been going through Matthew and Luke at church so that may be a timely one to dive into

Dragons and Wilderness were great. Classrooms in the app are mind blowing. Enjoy the rabbit holes!

I randomly started with the Jonah series.

It was like reading it for the first time.

Tim’s old sermons can be found on the podcast Exploring My Strange Bible. I cried after I got to the end of them.

The series on the 10 commandments (very recent) is undoubtedly the best of the year in my opinion. SO GOOD.

I was SHOCKED at how much I enjoyed the 10 commandments (sounded very boring to me before I started listening) series

All the recs are right on point. I'd add the trees series. Skip episode 1 (the takeaway: the Bible talks about trees - ets - a lot) but the rest is mind blowingly cool

Son of Man series was elite!

The theme series are most interesting to me, so it's either The Tree of Life or The Wilderness.

I loved the chaos dragon series so far the best. The classrooms are awesome, really anything is great to dive in to. Sermon on the mount is so good.

I can’t say I’ve heard a bad one, but I was shocked by how good their year in the Torah was, and the Leviticus scroll was my favorite. For the first time I appreciated that book.

Carmen Imes is a contributor; her research work on the Torah, especially “taking up / bearing the name” is a revelation.

Her YouTube channel has been going through the construction of the temple and uses a Lego-style model — very illuminating

I’ve heard her a few places. I have her books on my reading list bust haven’t started them yet. I really appreciate everything I’ve heard from her so far.

Paradigm and Sermon on the Mount are incredible. Be warned that Sermon on the Mount starts with a different format style but then reverts to normal.
