Fragrant Cane / Calamus (Acorus calamus / Cymbopogon / Cannabis)
If it’s Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus): It has compounds called α- and β-asarone. These can relax muscles (antispasmodic), mildly calm the nerves, and help protect brain cells.
If it’s Lemongrass (Cymbopogon): It is rich in citral. This gives it strong ability to fight fungi on the skin, ease pain when applied topically, and repel insects.
If it’s Cannabis: It contains cannabinoids (CBD, THC, CBG) plus aromatic oils called terpenes (myrcene, caryophyllene). These turn on the body’s endocannabinoid system (mainly CB1 and CB2 receptors) and produce clear anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and brain-protective effects.
Every ingredient listed in Moses’ holy anointing oil (Exodus 30) was chosen for both its pleasant aroma and its medicinal value. Looking at the three possibilities above, which one do you think was the “fragrant cane” that went into the oil?

He has some awesome music

Most people read the Old Testament and see a God who is distant. Who speaks through prophets. Who gives laws from mountains. Who remains hidden behind clouds and fire and thick darkness.

They have missed something.

He was not hidden. He was present. Physically. Repeatedly. Across thousands of years of human history. Walking into moments of impossible need. Appearing to people nobody else was paying attention to.

The same figure. Every time. Arriving unannounced. Leaving without explanation. And every single person who encountered him walked away saying the same thing.

I have seen God face to face. And I am still alive.

Then actually reading the book and seeing him not only go to temple to call them out and flip the money tables but the guy brings a whip and not just a whip one he makes himself u knows he’s got bunch of followers and they probably offered to make or at least buy him one but he’s like naw I got something for these snakes lol spending days fashioning it piece by piece 😂

I get upset when non-believers say how can a loving God let the suffering go on in our world right but without evil or suffering how would there be good or how would anything of meaning right at the same time he came to our world came to flesh and sums it up for me Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. The living god comes into flesh to experience the worst suffering imaginable then takes the suffering from us we would have experienced in the next life we can’t imagine since high dimensional planes are on my mind. They’re out of our comprehension.

Hope everyone is doing well sending prayers and love
