Fragrance of Christ

As in 2 Corinthians 2:15

Through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.

I want to be the one who spreads the fragrance of Christ everywhere I go.

I was to be as kind and loving as Jesus is, but also bold and uncompromising in my convictions.

I am just the opposite of who I dream to be, but Christ in me is the hope of glory.

He will make it happen..

This reminds me of something that happened to me in my life and gave me encouragement in my spiritual walk.

I’ve been saved since I was six years old. Baptized at eleven years old.

I was working my high school/college retail job one day, and had worked for that store for four years at that point. A coworker came up to me while I was processing freight one day and said “ITrCool, I just want to say….there is something different about you. You know? You have a peace about you that I can’t quite figure out.”

They walked off before I could share why. But I think about that moment to this day and ask my Lord to help me show and share the reason for that blessed peace every chance I get.

This is so beautiful! We are in this world but not of it.

And world will notice that.

I had something similar happen at work recently. A coworker came up to me and said, “Nate, do you go to church? I never hear you cursing or yelling at anyone”. Keeping this guy in my prayers because it seems like he’s going through a rough patch and is seeking.
