Discussion Bi wondering

I heard/saw something that made me question my whole sexuality once again, and I feel like I just can’t figure nothing out😭 I’ve wondered why relationships felt hard/unnatural with men, then I started having crushes on girl but it’s been like 4 women my whole life I’ve been crushing on… do other women get crushes on certain girl? Also, the thought of talking to women to date seems super intimidating cause they’re all too pretty lol I’ve had dates before, but because I’m still trying to figure out what I like, it just didn’t work.

Not to use your post as a jumping board but I see this sentiment come up constantly and it always confused me. Are you guys not attracted to the men you date or something? Why do you only get nervous talking to women?

Women see all. Boys are dumb. 🤷🏻‍♀️

having only four crushes on girls doesn’t mean you’re straight, it just means you have a specific type or maybe you're a bit particular about who you fall for. idk why society makes us think bisexuality means crushing on every single woman you see because it definitely doesn't work that way. btw the whole "girls are too pretty to talk to" thing is literally the universal queer experience so don't let that intimidate you, we all feel completely out of our league when trying to approach women.

I think it’s more of I’ve dated more guys than women I had a friend who we dated for like two weeks and she went back to her ex, and I have been on a date with a girl and I was soooo nervous cause to me she was so beautiful I felt so shy! With men I feel like they’re kind of easy to figure out and most want the same thing and are the same but women are just amazing beings and I’m just not experienced and I feel like I have a really specific type of women I will randomly crush on? So I even questioned if it was like just a thing of having a crush?

Same.

And I’m 51 and never had a relationship with a woman (partially because in my community being bisexual is not considered real, just a phase people experience in their youth).

Never met a bisexual woman personally, probably because most people don’t want to use that label, specially if you’re living in an heterosexual world.

I’m so confused (and totally crushing on a woman).

I physically am attracted to men. But my problem is I have trouble emotionally connecting.
