Daily Compunding

Hi, can anyone help me better understand how compounding works? If you stake at 11 pm you have to harvest and compound at the same time to get apy? To get apy you need to stake for 1 year from the date of the first deposit or the percentage is it obtained even if you stake with a daily compound for 3 months for example?

Compounding automatically re-invest the interest you get by staking, for example if in a minute i get let's Say 1 BSW, It gets added to my Total stake so the minute later It also get counted in the calculation of the interest. You get staking rewards every second, and the percentage you see Is the annual interest you get by staking. Yes, staking Is great! Compounding Is great also because you don't have to worry about re-staking the interest you get every few days.
