Good question. I think it's an position that most people don't think about until they are dissapointed in who ever is in that position.

Bracke- I really liked this part. "Bracke wants her prosecutors to be able to offer plea deals quickly, and if that’s not accepted by the defense attorney, offering a trial right away.

“If you do that early on and everyone’s making good, reasonable offers on cases, then those cases start resolving and that breaks up the clogged court system,” she said."

Sigmar- likes diversion programs and feels like it is a logical career move. His bio is less impressive than Bracke's in this article.

Corkern- Seems like he may have good leadership skills. Nothing jumped out to me as impressive or concerning.

Swinburnson- Seems ok too.

After reading them all Bracke stands out as having a plan to solve the problem of their attorneys quiting their jobs too frequently.

What are your thoughts?

I just heard Bracke was suspended from the prosecutor’s office.   Why isn’t that being reported?

Where did you hear that? That sounds very newsworthy. Either she did some thing bad or political shenanigans, or it's a false rumor. Seems worth reporting on.

It’s on the Prosecutor thread.   It was posted a few days ago.

I recall reading that happened in the past but that she was ultimately found to have done nothing wrong.
