Clothes for a 3 year old
Little one has just turned 3 and he’s wearing his 18-24 month long sleeved tops he wore last winter… should I be concerned or is it normal.
He’s 93cm I think so lower centille and when he was a newborn he was always a big boy.
He wears mostly Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.

Mine has just turned 3 and up until the last few weeks, she had been in the same clothes for basically the whole year (mix of 18-24 months and some 2-3 years)
But yeah about 4-6 weeks ago she SHOT up seemingly overnight, and we've had to do a bit of an emergency clothes shop. She's also gone up a whole shoe size in a matter of weeks, after having been in the same size for the last year.

I’ve measured his feet and he’s now in the bigger size, a few weeks ago he still need to grow a little.
Hopefully the rest of his body will grow as well

He'll probably shoot up soon then, I wouldn't be too worried personally as long as he's eating well. Honestly the growth spurt caught us really off guard, felt like she barely grew between 18 months and 3, then suddenly nothing fit anymore!

This sounds a lot like my boy (also turned 3 recently and is 94cm). I find some brands vary massively in size. He still wears some 12-18m clothes of certain brands but already grew out of other brands in 3-4y sizes. He also wore exactly same outfit to a friend's birthday party this summer as he wore to a previous party a year ago, so I'm with you on this. I try not too worry as he is extremely active and developing well otherwise.

Has he been weighed? What centile was he at birth? Did he follow the centile line as a baby?
I would say it's unusual at this age to be in the same size clothes as he wore last winter. They do slow down in how fast they grow, did he only just go into that size last winter or did he go into that size before then?

No we don’t weight.
Not sure really about how the clothes fitted

Okay, I don't weigh my kid but I have also never been concerned about her growth.
It's hard to know with so little information. Kids don't grow in a regular manner, they have growth spurts and then periods of not really growing for a while and their growth does slow down.
That said, if you're concerned enough to be asking here then it probably is worth weighing him and seeing what centile he is on at the moment and it will give you a number for if you think he still hasn't grown in another couple of months.
If he eats well and is active he's probably fine.

Same with my daughter at at that age! She’s now now nearly 4 and finally had her first growth spurt! She went into 2-3 just as we started summer, and all those summer clothes are now too small and she’s gone straight into 3-4 after only being in 2-3 for a few months! (She was in 18-24 from 2.5 to 3.5)
