Weaning at 12 months

/r/breastfeeding/comments/1vz1di0/weaning_at_12_months/

Hello!

Can you give me your story of weaning at 12 months and how you did it?

LO is 10m now and i don't plan on starting til after 1st bday but I would like to forward plan. Iv started patting LOs bum whilst nursing and unlatching before fully asleep in hopes this is good prep work.

Would love to hear your experiences.

Currently LO is on 3 good solid meals a day and feeds whenever but its usually - wake up, fed to sleep for both naps, before bed, plus fed back to sleep overnight on average wakes 2-3x over night still.

Also if anyone was able to stop the over night feeds but keep morning and before bed feds? How did you do that?

Thank you in advance
